OTS Embroidered Dress | OOTD

It’s so awesome when you have a piece that you can quickly change to give it a new look. Today, it’s this fabulous velvet off the shoulder dress. This dress is stretchy in all of the right places and the placement of the embroidery is ultra feminine.

By now, you know that I styled this look with my converse. I literally couldn’t live without them. They are a daily part of my life just like family. Lol This dress could easily be dressed up for a fancy night out with your bae or a girls night. For a day look, I kept it super casual with chucks and a denim jacket.

If you get this dress, I’d love to see how you style it so send me pictures, comments, or an email to let me know! Enjoy!

Striped Wide Leg Pants | OOTD

I had so much fun with this look. It’s a bold approach to wearing stripes mainly because I’ve incorporated both horizontal and vertical stripes. The key to making this work is making sure one of the pieces is more subdued. I chose a top with small simple horizontal stripes to work with my brightly colored pants. A wide brimmed fedora to keep the sun off of my shoulders and a big purse for all of the things I may get while I’m out brunching. Happy styling, Enjoy!

Floral Bomber | OOTD

We’re about to “fall” into “spring” “weather” we want to or not. (See what I did there?!?! Lol) I’ve taken a proactive step by getting my hands on this floral bomber before it’s too late. I love this because it says spring, but is not too bright. The black back ground color helps to keep that in check. I took it a step further by adding in a floral top that isn’t quite a busy as the bomber.

An OOTD would not be the same from me if I didn’t touch on the bold/edgy element of a look. In this look, it’s the color block pleated skirt and converse combo. If it were not for the black background in the bomber and shirt, I’m not completely sure that this would still gel as well. The cherry on top is my round retro mirrored sunglasses. They will take you right through spring into summer.

Leave me a comment and tell me what you think about this look. I want to know what you think will work for you. Enjoy!

Front Split Sweater | OOTD

Sometimes you come across a piece that is so interesting that you just can’t pass it up. That’s  exactly how I felt when I saw this fabulous sweater! It’s a beautiful mix between a long cardigan and a pull over turtle neck sweater. I like to go for bold looks and it’s definitely an eye catching piece. It is casual and has just the right amount of coverage for a skin tight body suit or a fitted pair of leggings.

My skirt is sponsored by A Day N June and has a very retro feel. The light wash of the denim and the front zipper, combined with the high waist not only make it a perfect fit, but gives it so many look options. Of course, my converse seal the deal with many of my looks and today is no different.

I like to describe this look as “monochromatic with interest.” Leave me a comment and tell me what you think about this outfit of the the day, enjoy!

Plaid Off The Shoulder Dress | OOTD

This plaid off the shoulder dress makes me feel like a complete bad ass! I feel like I’m draped in something bold which is what I live for. At first glance, this plaid off the shoulder dress just looks like it’s just, well, um, plaid! Ha ha! However, the details make this dress. Unlike most off the shoulder dresses I’ve seen, there are cool buttons down the center of the front. There is also separation of the draped fabric in the front, allowing for more movement in the dress. Now when I wear this dress I feel like I’m moving fluidly through out my day.

Last but most definitely not least is adding in the shoes and accessories. Like many of my style decisions, I ended up pair my absolute favorite pair of sneakers with this dress. You can never go wrong with Chuck Taylor’s. A faux leather jacket, sunnies, and a faux leather cross body purse and your’e unstoppable.

Leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this look. Enjoy!
