Sometimes when I thrift shop I find nothing. Other times it is obvious that the thrift gods are on my side. I was able to get this beautiful print for less than $5 from a resale shop. To make things even better, I got these wide leg high rise jeans from Target for about $9. I’ve had these wedge sandals for about three years (but they came from target) and my friends over at Charming Charlie hooked me up with the accessories. The best thing about spring and summer is the vibrant prints and colors that come along with it. The dresses, skirts, and shorts get shorter and the patterns get busier. When I received this dress sponored by Tobi ,I was so happy to see the vivid colors and contrast provided by the prints.
What I like most about this dress is the casual vibes that automatically come to mind when I put it on. I immediately felt like I was going on vacation. The ties at the shoulders are so adorable and you could even go braless if you wanted to really relax. To keep it casual and comfortable, I paired my trusty white converse with this look.
To add in yet another bold element I looked for one of the most fabulous accessories I could find. Milan Blocks sponsored this amazing acrylic clutch that has a detachable chain that allows you to use it as a cross body purse too! It’s a beautiful bright aqua blue with sparkly red lips on it. It is literally a show stopper! Purses like this run for $500+ or more and I was lucky enough to have found this one in Houston for under $100. With the holiday of renewal and life (Easter) coming up this is the best time to find something short, sweet and casual to wear after church. Maybe I should have just started with “this dress has two pockets” but it is pretty dang cute. Its cool pink,yellow, and gray color blocked arrangement with a slimming design is all you’ll need. It has a loose fit so eat all you want. Ha ha! Grab a big purse to stuff your kids eggs in and some comfy sneakers and have fun with your family. Enjoy!
This OOTD is all about transitioning to Spring! I’m so ready for it and I know you are too! You’ve seen this floral bomber styled in another OOTD but I love it so much that I decided to remix it again. You’ll being see this piece a lot this season since it’s so fun, bold, and versatile.
I love looks that are bold and or edgy with the option to dress it up or down easily. This one is just perfect! The bomber is bold and the maxi skirt has a double split giving it some pizazz. My v-neck cami creates a perfect shape for layered necklaces while opening up a very “covered up” outfit. You could obviously put on a wedge or heel with this look but the other option is a sneaker (my Chuck’s duh!)
