Talk about love at first sight! Makemechic.com was kind enough to send me this incredibly chic and comfy maxi dress to review for you. I have nothing but praises to sing about this dress. The details are on point with a nice collar, buttons, two splits, rich color blocking and front detail.

When I wear a dress my major concern is, “Can I chase and pick up my three old son without revealing my entire backside.” Not only could I do that but I could also go to the buffet and not worry about my “food baby” showing after I’ve eaten too much. Ha ha!

The sizing runs a bit large. I’m wearing an extra small and I still have plenty of room in this dress. Leave me a comment about your favorite look to chase your kiddos in, enjoy!

The Power of a Blazer | OOTD

When I wear a structured blazer it makes me feel incredibly strong. I thrifted this one over the weekend and when I found it  I couldn’t believe the perfect fit! It was like it was made for me. I could tell this one is a oldie because it has non-detachable shoulder pads in it.

 Nothing brings me more excitement that an outfit that is all black so this one really took the cake. This entire look was either in my existing wardrobe or thrifted. I hope this inspires you to revisit pieces you already have in your closet. Enjoy! 

Celebrating My 1st Anniversary

Nothing says “party”like a black & white sequins dress and a big ass balloon! (That’s the real company name. Lol) ?It was beyond amazing to celebrate a fun 1st year of blogging with dear friends and family. Thank you to everyone who has ever supported my dreams. Your positive vibrations and deeds of trust amaze me and I’m so grateful. To my husband Michael who loves and supports me tirelessly in more ways than I can count, I love you! I couldn’t do a fraction of what I do without you! 

AB's 1st year Blogaversary!

This first year of blogging flew by! On many occasions I wanted to quit purely because I wanted more sleep. Lol I could not have predicted how amazing this first year would be and I am more than thankful and grateful to every person that has supported me along this journey. Thankfully there is much more to come and the story is not over. There are many words of gratitude that I must extend but first I must that the Lord for giving me strength as well as my heart’s desires. Following that, I must thank my husband Michael because with out him, not of this would be possible. He is my support and partner in all of my endeavors.
