Fall Floral | OOTD

Lately the thrifting gods have been on my side! I thrifted this AMAZING dark floral print midi skirt just in time for fall and it only cost me $7.

I could see the bold print from a mile away and I was attracted to it like a magnet. When I started putting this look together I kept fall in mind by pairing a dark colored top and motorcycle jacket.

Having staple pieces in your wardrobe is essential because it helped me bring this “pricey looking” OOTD together for $7. They only thing I actually purchased was the skirt. I already had my black button down, heels, moto jacket, and my sunnies. Now that what I call looking fab for less.

Leave me a comment and tell me about your thrifting adventures. Enjoy!

Lace+Air | OOTD

We all want real fall weather really badly! However, this is Houston so until November we will still be seeking out light and airy clothing to keep us from melting.

You absolutely will not believe what I paid for this light and airy lace dress. I thrifted this dress for $8 from a thrift shop last weekend. I was combing the  racks when something black and beautiful jumped out at me. I was in complete shock at the quality and condition of this beautiful dress. The lace is so feminine and the movement that it has keeps you feeling free and cool. If you haven’t been thrifting in a while go give it a try. You’ll be surprised at what you can find. Happy thrifting! Enjoy!

Gingham Pixie Pants | OOTD

Have you ever had a pair of pants you love so much that you would try to pair them with just about anything? Yep, me too! For me right now its my Old Navy gingham pixie pants. They are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down easily. I’ve worn them with t-shirts, button downs, blouses, you name it! For this look I chose a textured gray long sleeve top that I fell in love with while I was in Europe during the summer. Leave me a comment about what pants you currently have on repeat. Enjoy!

Spice Up Your T-Shirt

Most of us have what seems like thousands of basic t-shirts. They function as is but sometimes you may feel the urge to do a little bit more with them. When the feeling hits you, go for easy layering. It will give your basic tee new life and give you several new looks.

Most of you know I practically live in Old Navy so this ENTIRE look is from there. I chose a thin olive green button down shirt to layer underneath my relaxed fit striped tee. Add in a pair of black rockstar jeans and chucks and now my tee looks #neverbasic.

This is also perfect for people like me who get cold very easily. I’ll be layering up as soon as Houston cools down. How would you layer a basic tee to give it new life? Leave me a comment, I’d love to hear. Enjoy!

Lady in Red | OOTD

The jumper in this OOTD was sponsored by DressLily.com so that I can bring you a honest review on some of their pieces.

This entire look has me seeing red! Not really but I sure was happy to be dressed in red from my lips to my shoes. For some reason wearing so much red makes me feel like this would be a great holiday look.

When it comes to quality of the jumper I think it has a great fit, however, I think the weight of the fabric is a bit too light. I know it’s crazy hot in Houston but if the fabric was a bit heavier, it would provide a more rigid structure to the jumper. It would also make this piece look way more expensive. I got a medium because I was worried about it being too small but I can admit that a size small would have given a snugger fit.

Leave me a comment if you like this look, enjoy!
