How to Style a Slouchy Tunic | OOTD

No matter how much you love getting dressed up, there will always be a day when a slouchy tunic makes you feel good. It’s loose, comfy, light weight, and cozy at the same time. Luckily, my friends over at The Mint Julep Boutique sponsored this olive green Slouchy Dolman Tunic for me and I will be helping you with simple ideas on how you can style it effortlessly.

As a basis for this look, my Dolman Tunic will be paired with boyfriend jeans and booties for each look. First up, you can style this top with a cool hat. This takes minimal effort yet looks so pulled together.

Another option is to pair it with a puffy vest. This gives you some added warmth, dimension and color contrast.

Lastly, you can wear it as is, grab a pair of sunglasses and head out of the door. There’s nothing wrong with simplicity.

Gingham Pixie Pants | OOTD

Have you ever had a pair of pants you love so much that you would try to pair them with just about anything? Yep, me too! For me right now its my Old Navy gingham pixie pants. They are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down easily. I’ve worn them with t-shirts, button downs, blouses, you name it! For this look I chose a textured gray long sleeve top that I fell in love with while I was in Europe during the summer. Leave me a comment about what pants you currently have on repeat. Enjoy!

Spice Up Your T-Shirt

Most of us have what seems like thousands of basic t-shirts. They function as is but sometimes you may feel the urge to do a little bit more with them. When the feeling hits you, go for easy layering. It will give your basic tee new life and give you several new looks.

Most of you know I practically live in Old Navy so this ENTIRE look is from there. I chose a thin olive green button down shirt to layer underneath my relaxed fit striped tee. Add in a pair of black rockstar jeans and chucks and now my tee looks #neverbasic.

This is also perfect for people like me who get cold very easily. I’ll be layering up as soon as Houston cools down. How would you layer a basic tee to give it new life? Leave me a comment, I’d love to hear. Enjoy!

Lady in Red | OOTD

The jumper in this OOTD was sponsored by DressLily.com so that I can bring you a honest review on some of their pieces.

This entire look has me seeing red! Not really but I sure was happy to be dressed in red from my lips to my shoes. For some reason wearing so much red makes me feel like this would be a great holiday look.

When it comes to quality of the jumper I think it has a great fit, however, I think the weight of the fabric is a bit too light. I know it’s crazy hot in Houston but if the fabric was a bit heavier, it would provide a more rigid structure to the jumper. It would also make this piece look way more expensive. I got a medium because I was worried about it being too small but I can admit that a size small would have given a snugger fit.

Leave me a comment if you like this look, enjoy!

Cozy On The Go | OOTD

The casual gray jumpsuit in this OOTD was sponsored by DressLily.com so that I can bring you a honest review on some of their pieces.

Sometimes you just need that one thing that doesn’t wrinkle easily and is beyond comfortable to throw on quickly. (Like everyday, ha ha!) This jumper is a no brainer for those days. It can be worn alone or layered with a jacket or sweater like I’ve styled here. Sneakers and sandals look great with it and you’ll be out of the door in minutes. Need I say more?!?!

The quality of this jumper is surprisingly good. I ordered a medium because I don’t like things to fit too tightly and this was perfect. I would say it runs a bit small so order at least one size bigger than what you would normally wear. As far as texture, it is very soft and sort of thick. It will be perfect if it ever cools down in Houston but it is a little too warm to wear comfortably right now.

Leave me a comment about your favorite “on the go” outfit, enjoy!
