Statement Earrings + Boyfriend Jeans | OOTD

So you found a pair of ultra fabulous statement earrings, but you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed when it comes to actually wearing them. I know the feeling all too well. It’s the holiday season so I come bearing fashion advice as your early gift.

I will always say that when you want to show off a statement piece keep everything else super simple. That way when people see you, their eyes got to you and your statement. For this look I kept all of the other colors pretty muted to let my earrings shine. My sweater has a lot of interesting features but it doesn’t over power what I want to show off. I’ve fallen in love with this powder pink & polka dot look over and over again because of its subtle yet bold statement. Some folks may think that a bold piece has to be bright, patterned or textured. While those all create bold looks, there are more ways to reach this same goal.

This polka dot top with flared layered sleeves is sponsored by Shein.com and boy is it what this look needs! It’s hard to go wrong with classic black and white polka dots but you can obviously see that this is no ordinary top. The white denim pants and black zip up booties compliment the top while another star shines. This light pink over coat is a real show stopper. I adore that the pink is so light people will have to stare at you to figure out its true color. It has an oversized fit in a classic style. What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, for it to actually get cold enough to wear it!

OOTD |Unique Blazer & Denim Jumper

Any time I get dressed or go shopping the first thing that crosses my mind is “Will this be comfortable?” This OOTD is not only comfy but it is really versatile.

I adore comfortable jumpers in general but this light denim is just right for spring. It’s on trend with a wide leg opening and has spaghetti straps for a warmer Houston day. I would wear the jumper as is with my converse for running errands and chasing Grant around. If I wanted to take this jumper to a more evening look, I would style it with a unique blazer and a nice high heel (As pictured) .

Let’s give this blazer its own moment! It’s a beautiful navy color, covered in black tassels with black lapels for the accent. This blazer would be a conversation piece any where you go, and especially at a fashion event!
