Striped Off the Shoulder Dress | OOTD

Y’all!! This dress!! (And this colorful home!) When I got ready to go shoot this look, we were driving out of our neighborhood looking for a cool place when we saw our neighbor’s home and thought, “That’s amazing!” Her yellow door and art work on the steps made my DIY heart skip a beat! I went to chat with my neighbor and she was kind enough to let me photograph this look right in front of her beautiful home. Thank you Terri!

Amazon is my go to for nearly everything now. I love to order things and have it show up on my door step 2 days later with my Prime account. It saves me time and trips to the store. My amazon habits are not limited to house hold goods anymore. I find some surprisingly wonderful things at low prices to wear on Amazon nowadays and here is one wonderful off the shoulder dress to prove it to you.

I adore the vertical stripes and the amazing colors in this dress. I think this dress just meshes well with summer themed parties, picnics, festivals and pretty much anything celebratory. The material has a gauze feel that makes it wonderful for airflow on hot Houston days.

Anything that allows me to “throw something” on and run out of the house is absolutely a win in my book. I’m all about being care free in as many ways as humanly possible and this dress does it for me. Leave me a comment about your favorite carefree thing to wear. Enjoy!

Spring Playsuits | OOTD

Playsuits are not just for kids and this OOTD will prove it to you. We all know how adorable little kids look in “all in ones” and adults look just as cute. Lol My playsuit sponsored by Tobi is basically a romper that provides you all of the freedom to move around and get frisky as you see fit.

This one is so much fun because of the vibrant color and the fun front tie. You don’t always expect to see an orange playsuit but when you do you can’t look away. It’s loose enough to catch the breeze and fitted enough to make you feel like an adult. I dressed this look up by putting on a bold heel but you can easily dress it down with a cool  sneaker.

As usual, I am always looking for ways to make my looks bold and the color of this playsuit combined with the cobalt blue wristlet, and denim fringe shoes is the perfect combination. Enjoy!

Peach Mesh Dress |OOTD

This OOTD is in honor of transitioning between seasons. We are in the midst of spring with summer around the corner. All I can think about is getting my hands on cute spring pieces that will take me well into summer. Things that will keep me cool and dry along with bright bold colors. This Only Girl Strapless Shift Dress sponsored by Tobi is on Sale for $13 bucks and is too dang cute to pass up. It has mesh paneling at the midriff area and hem. How often have you seen that? Seems perfect for the beach huh?

The color is stunning and it moves so well. Being in Houston makes me appreciate a garments that flows and has great ventilation. (Ha ha) This dress has both and is uber stylish. Anytime I’m wearing something that is a solid color I love to spice it up with even more color or prints. The glasses I’m wearing in this look adds contrast and color that I look for in my styling. A simple gold necklace from Charm Envy, a pair of gold shoes from Ippo, and an Elaine Turner bag completed this look.

The Golden Hour with L’occitane

As Mother’s Day quickly approaches I’m beginning to think about what I can get the woman that isn’t easily impressed (my mom.) She’s a decisive woman who knows exactly what she likes. L’Occitane sponsored a Terre De Lumiere set for me that includes the perfume, shower gel and body lotion and my mom noticed right away! She loves the way it smells and of course she asked me where I got it from. With out answering her question, I rambled on about the amazing inspiration behind the scent. The creators took a special moment, “the golden hour”, and found a way to bottle it and make it last forever. Delicate aromas of lavender, honey and almond from the South of France make it subtle yet unforgettable.

It didn’t take me long to decide that I wanted to give her a bottle of Terre De Lumiere from L’Occitane. On top of the perfume, I plan to add in the gentle shower gel and the beautifying body lotion.  All three of these amazing things are conveniently put together in a cool gift set to make shopping easy for a busy girl like myself.

As always, let me know what you think when you order your own Terre De Lumiere set, I know you’ll love it! Enjoy!

Easter Inspiration | OOTD

With the holiday of renewal and life (Easter) coming up this is the best time to find something short, sweet and casual to wear after church. Maybe I should have just started with “this dress has two pockets” but it is pretty dang cute. Its cool pink, yellow, and gray color blocked arrangement with a slimming design is all you’ll need. It has a loose fit so eat all you want. Ha ha! Grab a big purse to stuff your kids eggs in and some comfy sneakers and have fun with your family. Enjoy!
