I’ve remixed that same swimsuit this year by simply adding a fun summer bananas graphic t-shirt over it to give it a new look.

Sometimes when you head out to the pool you can feel a bit exposed. You’re basically in your underwear so layering a cool t-shirt on top of your swim top could be the answer to feeling more clothed at the pool this summer. I’m not sure if I have mentioned this before but I absolutely love leopard prints! This outfit gives me a “clean slate” to put all of my leopard accessories with. While I was out having lunch with my husband a few days ago we stopped by a thrift store. I thrifted this top for 4.50 and the shorts for $5.00. Both of these items for under $10!?!?! So awesome right?!

The shirt is a size 10 but looks great tucked into a high waisted bottom. The shorts actually started out as pants. I have been wanting a pair of high waisted shorts that aren’t too short. I definitely don’t want my cheeks hanging out but nowadays it’s tough to find that combination. This older denim provides me with HUGE deep pockets, a high waist, and adjustable length. Everything I wanted! Don’t you love when that happens? Me too!

To spice everything up I went for my leopard print belt, leopard bracelet, Charm Envy nail bracelet and my A+B necklace. My go to brown purse and wedge heels were the icing on the cake. I just love when a look comes together 🙂 Today is Earth Day so try your hand at a cool thrifted look as a way to reuse, reduce, and recycle. Enjoy!

Top Shop Fun | OOTD

Top Shop celebrated it’s 1st year in the Houston Galleria with a birthday celebration. For this runway show every model styled their own look that highlighted a new denim piece for spring/summer. Needless to say, I had an absolute blast! Fashion shows always allow me to experiment with looks with out commitment so I was in heaven. I started by picking out high waisted denim shorts. From there I fell in LOVE with this green bomber jacket. To pick up the details in the jacket I selected a red-orange body suit with a strappy back. The icing on the cake was the orange rimmed sun glasses with blue lens detail. In these pics I’m wearing my own criss cross leopard print wedges but during the show, I wore Top Shop Boho wedges. I love this fun look for beach or festival wear.
