Flowers + Stripes | OOTD

If  you’re looking for a funky way to mix stripes and floral prints then I’m here to help! This OOTD is so fun because this combination is a bit unexpected. The trick to making this look work for you is making sure the base color of both your pieces are the same. The v-neck top is black with white stripes and the skirt is black with floral print. Because they have that black base in common they don’t conflict with each other. For the shoe I chose a comfortable sneaker that brings out the coral floral print in the skirt. Everything about this look ties in together. You could probably guess that I got this entire look from Old Navy, enjoy!

Peplum Cami + Nuetrals | OOTD

When your whole life comes from Old Navy!!!! Lol I do have favorite stores where I shop but it’s rare that I have an entire look that comes from one store. Well Old Navy, you’ve done it! From my sunnies to my shoes this complete look comes from Old Navy.

This OOTD is completely composed of nuetrals. It’s no secret that I love black and white but hunter green and navy are on the top of my favorites list too. These nuetrals are forever in a revolving list of pieces that can be mixed and matched. They came in handy while I was traveling for two weeks with a limited wardrobe. Leave me a comment and tell me what’s your favorite store to get complete looks from, Enjoy!

Monochrome Denim

I love to keep things simple so a monochromatic look of any color is right up my ally. For this OOTD I’m showing you a cool monchromatic denim look.

The key to this look is making sure that the pieces are close in color. Contrary to what you may think, the pieces don’t have to be identical. After I decided on these pieces I chose to provides some contrast with my accessories. Just to spice it up a bit more I included my brown envelope purse and black lace up heels. (It’s ok to mix black and brown Lol) Toss in a pair of black sunnies, gold collar necklace and my favorite red lipstick and I’m ready to walk out of the door. It doesn’t get any easier that that!

Leave me a comment about your favorite monochrome look, enjoy!

Travel Day in Kiev,Ukraine | OOTD

Greetings from Kiev, Ukraine! This outfit of the day is from my first day in Eastern Europe. We had a 20+ hour layover in Kiev, Ukraine so instead of sleeping on the airport floor (which was really tempting, NOT!!!) we slept one night in one of the best hostels in town. It was  such a treat after an almost 9 hour flight from New York. In that short time we were able to shower, sleep in a comfortable bed and get some yummy, eats and drinks. We walked around the street markets to take in some sights while we could. Before we knew it, it was time to hit the airport again for our final destination.

Alright, let’s talk about the details for this first outfit of the day Europe edition. This look was inspired by all of the European women after my own heart who are all about light minimalist looks in the summer.

For this look I paired a sleeveless light blue button down top with white deconstructed denim. My sandals have a simple, single wide straps across the toes and around the ankle. This helps keep everything looking clean. My pop of color happens to be my day bag for exploring. It’s a wine colored satchel with a leather strap and adds just enough interest to the look with out loosing the minimalist qualities. It’s hard to keep lights clean when you’re traveling but I managed.

Leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite travel outfit is. Enjoy!
