The Perfect Jeggings | OOTD

We all know the perfect pair of jeggings LOOK like the perfect pair of jeans! I’ve partnered with Old Navy to help you discover and style an amazing pair that you can literally wear any where.

When I styled these Rock Star Skinny jeggings I thought about all of the ladies ranging from teachers like myself to fashionistas with office careers. The truth is, this classic, yet modest look will work for us all. The true star of this look is the jeggings. They have a beautiful dark blue wash that gives them a professional look. You don’t have to worry about buttons or zippers because their are none. (Win!) They feel great, have two real back pockets, and allow you to move freely. What more could an elementary school teacher-mom-blogger ask for? Last but not least, the fit is so great, they make my little booty look amazing. Im just going to wear these everyday until someone says something. Lol

Leave me a comment about how you would style these perfect jeggings, enjoy!

Gingham Pixie Pants | OOTD

Have you ever had a pair of pants you love so much that you would try to pair them with just about anything? Yep, me too! For me right now its my Old Navy gingham pixie pants. They are so comfortable and can be dressed up or down easily. I’ve worn them with t-shirts, button downs, blouses, you name it! For this look I chose a textured gray long sleeve top that I fell in love with while I was in Europe during the summer. Leave me a comment about what pants you currently have on repeat. Enjoy!

Spice Up Your T-Shirt

Most of us have what seems like thousands of basic t-shirts. They function as is but sometimes you may feel the urge to do a little bit more with them. When the feeling hits you, go for easy layering. It will give your basic tee new life and give you several new looks.

Most of you know I practically live in Old Navy so this ENTIRE look is from there. I chose a thin olive green button down shirt to layer underneath my relaxed fit striped tee. Add in a pair of black rockstar jeans and chucks and now my tee looks #neverbasic.

This is also perfect for people like me who get cold very easily. I’ll be layering up as soon as Houston cools down. How would you layer a basic tee to give it new life? Leave me a comment, I’d love to hear. Enjoy!

Brunch Squad | OOTD

The weekend is near and with that come everyones favorite weekend activity, brunch!  Who doesn’t want to be apart of the brunch squad? It’s delicious food, day drinking and good company. I have the ideal outfit that will leave extra rom for all the food you’ll eat. Lol

I love a good graphic sweatshirt so this one is absolutely perfect for the weekends. Since weekends are all about being cute yet comfortable, casual is the way to go. For this OOTD, I took a cool graphic sweatshirt that I loved (cute tank underneath just in case I get warm), paired it with thrifted  denim shorts and topped it off with the best thing fall has to offer (a moto jacket)! On my feet are my converse because duh, they go with everything. A nice pair of sunnies for the morning drive and sitting outside and I was all set. The best thing about this look is after brunch, I can take off my shorts and crawl right into bed to sleep off all the food. Enjoy!

Never Basic Tees | OOTD

I am beyond happy to bring you an OOTD sponsored by one of my absolute favorite places to shop. I have partnered with Old Navy to help you style tees  in a way that will make you feel like casual royalty.

Sometimes t-shirts can get a bad reputation because they seem so basic in nature. I have news for you. A great fitting, well made t-shirt in the right color and style is never basic! This OOTD shows you how bold and versatile a t-shirt can be with the right style tips.

For starters, take a #NeverBasic  Old Navy Tee that you love and build your look around it. To spice up a graphic tee like I did, go for something a little bit unexpected. I gave my relaxed fit Shine Bright tee a dressier look by layering it on top of a button down shirt in a contrasting  green color. The collar on my button down takes my tee to the next level, yet lets my tee do all of the talking. I paired my black denim jeans with this look because it provides even more contrast from what I have going on above the waist but it also ties into the color of the text on my tee. Lastly, in cooler weather one last layer does the trick. I’ve topped of the entire look with my medium length trench coat. One of the main reasons this look works so well is because of all the neutral tones. Keep that in mind as you pull together your look.

This is just ONE awesome way to style the heck out of a tee. Leave me a comment about how you can take your tee to level #NeverBasic , Enjoy!
