Thank you Koh Gen Do for inviting me out to join behind-the-scenes for Fashion X HOUSTON. I was busy with work and life so I was unable to see the 1st and 2nd night of fashion but the final night of Fashion X HOUSTON did not disappoint. It was filled with talented designers that poured their hearts and souls into every single garment that came down the runway. I had to skip out right at the intermission so not all of the designers that presented are shown in this post. 

What I enjoyed the most is being amongst so many smiling faces both familiar and new. Everyone looked beautiful and the positive energy matched the prints, stunning colors, and unique designs that hit the runway. Enjoy!

How to Go From Dark Hair to Blonde Hair

I’m so excited about this post! I tried my hand at youtube and videos long before I started blogging. When life got busy I dropped the ball on it. Well, I’m trying it again! I don’t know how often I will make videos but here is one to start with.

I chronicled how I took my short natural dark brown hair to blonde. This video includes all of the products I used, recommended times, and tips. I can’t wait to hear what you think about it! Enjoy!

Orange Halter Bikini

This is a flash blog post!! (Meaning that I wrote it past midnight and I have work in the morning!)

I just got back from my vacation and I couldn’t hold on to this a amazing deal any longer! I found this AMAZING orange halter top two piece swimsuit with amazing details on Amazon for $8! You read that right, I said $8 y’all!!!

I always browse Amazon for good deals but when I stumbled upon this one I couldn’t believe it. I was fumbling over the keyboard of my computer trying to order it as fast as I could. The swim material is great and the construction is sound. I wasn’t worried about loosing my top as I had fun and that’s a big deal. When you have a full chest like I do, that is on the top of your list of concerns. Lol

White One Piece Swimsuit

I love this simple white swimsuit because with just a few cool accessories you can make your pool/beach look unforgettable and effortless. When you go to the beach you want it to be a care free experience so you don’t necessarily want to take your coveted accessories to be lost, damaged or stolen. To fix that problem, minimize the items your bring or wear to the water.

The first way I styled this white swimsuit is with may favorite red lip, and yellow acrylic sunglasses. That’s it! I will most likely wear my sunglasses so I don’t have much to loose yet this is still a styled look.

The second way I styled this white one piece swimsuit is with a very stylish pair of cat eye sunglasses (won’t loose them because they’ll be on my face) and some fun popsicle earrings. With this styling I only have one thing I need to seriously keep up with and I can hang on to one pair of earring while I’m on a trip to the water.

No matter which one I choose, I still look stylish and fashionable with minimal effort. That’s always a goal of mine. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think about this look. As always, enjoy!

I’m super excited to finally share this with everyone! This was a fashion editorial published by Mud Magazine. There’s beautiful video as well as photos for this story so feel free to share. The inspiration behind it is that of a young woman who seeks the freedom of her existing life to transform into a alternate reality of fun, pleasure, and independence.
